Why so cheap?

We hated doing SDSs in Word. It was slow, never-ending process. Updates were difficult if not impossible to do without errors. You couldn't properly form the SDS. And sharing all different versions was nightmare. When we came to first 100 SDS we knew something had to change. That's why in 2006 we developed Chemius – the first web based tool for creating, managing and sharing chemical documentation.

What's the first step?

We start with an offer – it's FREE and non-binding, so you don't commit to anything. There are three easy steps you need to take so we can help you. First, just upload your SDSs with an easy to use drag and drop tool. Secondly, you simply mark the languages in which you need your SDSs in. And lastly, you tell us where to send you your individually prepared offer. It should take less than 5 minutes.

The process of preparing your offer is not automatised – actual experts look at your SDSs and prepare your offer. But don’t worry, you'll have it on your desk in 72 hours.

I'm satisfied with an offer. What's next?

After you confirm the offer, we sign a standardised contract. There are two reasons for that:
  • ChemiusExpert is a credit based service where we do bulk of work right at the beginning without you paying anything in advance.
  • It's a guarantee that we will get paid for the work we do.
When we get papers out of the way we start working on your SDSs. You're welcome to ask any question you might have before and after signing the papers. It's important you get all the answers beforehand so we prevent any unexpected surprises.

What do you need from me to start?

We just need original SDS in whatever language. Or formulation if you need us to do SDS from scratch. As you know you receive a 100% WORRY-FREE GUARANTEE. And that's the main reason why we need original SDS or formulation.

How do you ensure safety of SDS information?

We know that SDS include sensitive data. Therefore we have no difficulties signing an NDA with you. Here is standard sample. You can also send us your if it makes you more comfortable.

What is the minimum period?

The minimum period is two (2) years. But we make it simple to start and stop at any time. If you decide to cancel before two (2) years, you have two options:
  • continue to pay on a monthly basis (till expiry of one year)
  • pay the remaining months in one amount

Why two years?

According to our more than a decade long experiences and talking to chemical inspectors two years is a minimum life cycle of the product. Just consider how long it takes to make the product, get it out on the market and how long can somebody have it stored. For all this time you need to have valid documentation. Legislation even demands that you store all chemical documents for 10 years after the product has been first put on the market.

What happens with my SDSs after 2 years?

We take care of your SDSs until you give us other instructions. You can delete them from ChemiusExpert service if you don't need them anymore.

Is there really a need for SDS updates?

SDSs are subject of many changes all the time. Literally. In the last 6 years there have been 5 changes in CLP legislation. What's more, three more are being announced and prepared as we speak. Now you know that SDSs were never static documents. That was just a myth.

Can I delete SDS from the ChemiusExpert service?

Yes, you can delete them after two (2) years as this is yearly service. Simply send us an e-mail and we'll take care of it immediately. If you would like to delete it before you can also do that. You just have to pay the remaining monthly fee for the SDSs you want to delete.

Is there a discount for the yearly service?

What if I have one product and several product names?

That's a great question. Let's say you have one product that you're selling under several product names. Or you even have one product that you market under several different product names – and you have different distributor for each of these product names.

In fact, one of our clients has 74 (yes, 74) product names for one product. And jet they pay only for one SDS. Imagine savings you get from that option – paying only for one instead of 74 SDS. That's money directly in your pocket.

Are there any extra fees?

No, there are NO extra fees. We only charge per SDS per month. The price does not depend on how many pages SDS has. You have all features included, an unlimited number of users, no set-up fee, no updates fee, no license fee. No hidden costs means nothing extra.

What do I need to run the ChemiusExpert service?

You can use any device with an internet connection and a web browser to run ChemiusExpert. Web browsers that work best are Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

Is my data safe and backed up?

Absolutely. We use 2048 bit certificate and support 128 bit bank grade SSL encryption on every page so you're always protected. Our storage infrastructure is highly durable and fault tolerant. That means that every file is written to multiple locations to prevent data loss. Our databases are regularly tested by professionals, who help banks, to ensure ChemiusExpert is bulletproof against unwanted hackers' attacks.

Where is your privacy policy and terms of service?

Can I test it?

Sure! We call it a test drive. In includes one SDS that we do for you in the language of your choice. This is FREE and with no other hidden obligations. Simply send Bojan, our head of sales, an email. And don't forget to include the original SDS and in what language you need it. Bojan will then inform you of when you'll get your new SDS.
